Authors are strictly instructed to follow Vancouver system for citing scientific literature. Any manuscript reference not following Vancouver system will immediately be sent back to author for revision. Authors must also note that NHJ follows following variation in Vancouver style:
- Superscripts must be used rather than brackets.
- Numbers (citations) should be inserted before colons and semi-colons. (to the left)
- Numbers (citations) should be inserted after comas and full stops. (to the right)
- It is important that the punctuation and form is consistently applied to the whole document.
